According to information, provided by Mr. Pawan Singh, CEO of Tengri Bank JSC (KAS:DNBN), Punjab National Bank (BSE:532461) has informed "Tengri Bank" JSC about decision to withdraw their consent given in May of 2019 for the merger of "Tengri Bank" JSC with "Capital Bank Kazakhstan JSC" and "AsiaCredit Bank JSC". The Punjab National Bank is the only major shareholder of "Tengri Bank" JSC, possessing 41,64% shares of the Bank. It is important to note, that the Merger can not be accomplished without consent of Punjab National Bank, the major shareholder of "Tengri Bank" JSC.
