Announcement regarding completion of share purchase to acquire an Australian bottled water company

Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. ("Asahi") is pleased to announce that it has completed the purchase of all the issued shares of Mountain H2O Pty Ltd ("Mountain H2O"), which was announced on 30 November 2011 in its news release, "Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. has commenced the process to acquire an Australian bottled water company".
The acquisition of Mountain H2O will allow Asahi Holdings (Australia) Pty Ltd ("AHA") to secure a stable supply of spring water in the growing bottled water market in Australia. Additionally, Mountain H2O's high manufacturing capability will enable AHA to provide high quality spring water products, and enable AHA to accelerate the streamlining of its Australian beverages business.

On 30 November 2011, AHA executed the share purchase agreement to acquire all the issued shares of Mountain H2O through. Based on this agreement, AHA completed the Transaction today.
2. Impact on Asahi's financial performance
The acquisition of Mountain H2O will not materially impact Asahi's non-consolidated and consolidated financial for FY December 2012.
