Antong Holdings Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600179) intent to acquire majority stake in Sinotrans Container Lines and China Merchants Guangzhou RoRo Shipping from China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (SHSE:601872) on May 28, 2024. Antong Holdings Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600179) agreed to acquire majority stake in Sinotrans Container Lines and China Merchants Guangzhou RoRo Shipping from China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (SHSE:601872) on June 13, 2024. Consideration will be issued in the form of ordinary shares (A-shares) at a price of CNY 2.41 per share.

The transaction is subject to approval from shareholders of Antong Holdings and China Merchants Energy Shipping, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Anti-Monopoly Bureau of the State Administration. The transaction has been approved by board of Antong Holdings.
