Altran and Alcatel-Lucent announce industrial partnership project in telecoms sector in Orvault (Western France)
Today, the groups Altran and Alcatel-Lucent announced that they have formed an industrial partnership project for the purposes of creating an expertise and telecoms services centre in the employment catchment area in Nantes. Within the context of this agreement, around 170 expert engineers specialised in 4G technology at Alcatel-Lucent's Orvault site (Western France) would be integrated into Altran's telecoms and media teams.
Altran has been a privileged partner of Alcatel-Lucent for more than 15 years providing the group with R&D consulting and services at the international level. This partnership will create a privileged working relationship between the two engineering teams and as such enable both companies to reinforce the fundamental basis of their collaboration.
Commenting on the partnership, Loïc le Grouiec, Country Operation Manager of Alcatel-Lucent in France said, "We are very pleased to enter into this partnership project with Altran, the global leader in consulting and innovation, particularly since this will give our highly-qualified employees the opportunity to pursue their careers in the employee catchment area in Nantes.
