Joint venture partners Tawana Resources NL and Alliance Mineral Assets Limited provided an update for the Bald Hill Lithium and Tantalum Mine located in the eastern goldfields of Western Australia. Highlights of the mine are- total of 21,975 wmt of spodumene concentrate produced in July and August; 18,855 dmt of lithium concentrate shipped during July and August; Lithium concentrate stockpiles of approximately 12,300 wmt as of August 31, 2018; 13.2 wmt tantalum pentoxide in concentrate produced; total of 243,182 tons of ore processed during July and August at an average throughput of 211 tph; and fines optimization study well-advanced, targeting increased combined throughput to 300tph. The JV parties are targeting production of 60,000 to 75,000 tons of lithium concentrate during the 6 months between July and December 2018.
