CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE NEWS ARTICLE PUBLISHED IN THE BUSINESS TIMES

AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT Management Limited as manager of AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT ("AA REIT", and as manager of AA REIT, the "Manager") refers to the article published in The Business Times on 19 January 2017 titled "AA REIT studying potential investment targets: CEO".

The Manager wishes to state that AA REIT is always on the lookout for real estate opportunities in the market for the benefit of unitholders of AA REIT and is constantly evaluating opportunities aligned to its growth strategy. AA REIT however has not entered into any firm commitment to acquire any particular property.

The Manager is continuing its active efforts to lease out the property under development at 8 & 10 Tuas Avenue 20 (the "Property") but has yet to finalise any lease(s) for the Property. The Manager will make the relevant announcement(s) as and when appropriate in accordance with the listing rules of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
