The European Commission today informed Ahlers Group that it has launched a formal antitrust investigation. The Commission investigates whether there have been breaches of competition law in connection with brand licensing agreements concluded by the French fashion house of Pierre Cardin and Ahlers Group.

Ahlers Group is cooperating with the Commission to facilitate a timely clarification of the facts. The opening of a formal investigation does not prejudge its outcome.
