Agthia Group PJSC reported unaudited preliminary earnings results for the full year of 2016. For the year, the company reported revenues of AED 2,011,941,000 compared to AED 1,866,350,000 a year ago. Net operating income was AED 264,217,000 compared to AED 235,841,000 a year ago. Net profit was AED 254,260,000 or AED 0.424 per share compared to AED 231,314,000 or AED 0.386 per share a year ago. Higher sales and lower commodity cost in addition to production efficiencies and favorable product mix carried net profit improvement 10%.
Agthia Group PJSC is a United Arab Emirates-based company, whose principal activities include the establishment, investment, trade and operation of companies involved in the food and beverage sector.
