B 2012-01-16 Taipei, Taiwan (January 16, 2012)-AAEON, a premiere industrial PC manufacturer, continues to expand their COM Express line up with the recent launch of the COM Express Type 2 CPU Module with an onboard Intel® Atom™ D525 processor: COM-LN Rev.B. This compact size module ((3.74" x 3.74" (95 mm x 95 mm)) supports the low power and high performance CPU with its Intel® Atom™ processor, ideal for any embedded applications that require a balance of performance and lower power. COM-LN Rev.B adopted the Intel® Atom™ D525 processor with the Intel® ICH8M chipset. Dual displays are supported by an 18-bit single channel LVDS port and VGA port. It is also equipped with the Intel® 82567V Gigabit Ethernet chipset for faster internet connections. COM-LN Rev.B employs two 204-pin DDR3800MHz SODIMMs with a maximum of 4GB for system memory. COM-LN Rev.B also offers eight USB2.0 ports, one PATA, three SATA 3.0Gb/s for storage, as well as five PCI-e [x1], four 32-bit PCI, one LPC bus and one SMBus for expansion purposes.
