Positive start to the year, upgrading profit expectations to the top of current market expectations
ZIGUP plc (LSE:ZIG), the leading integrated mobility solutions platform providing services across the vehicle lifecycle, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 10.30 a.m. today at the offices of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Governor's House, 5 Laurence Pountney Hill, London, EC4R 0BR.
At the meeting the following statement will be made:
'The Group has performed well over the first four months of the financial year and as a result of recent strong performance in Spain and FMG in particular, we expect our adjusted PBT for the year to be at the top of the current range of market expectations of £163.2 - £170.0m.
As at the end of August, average VoH is more than 5% ahead of the prior year and the Spanish fleet is now in excess of 80,000 vehicles. FMG volumes are strong, including benefitting from the recent re-awarding and expansion of the Motability contract by one of our largest insurance partners. Leverage is in line with our target range of 1-2x, and our balance sheet is supported by £1.8bn of fleet assets.
The Board remains confident of the Group's long term growth strategy and prospects; following investment across our network we have increased scale in both geographies and the UK&I simplification actions are continuing at pace'.
Shareholder returns
Shareholders are being asked today to approve a final dividend of 18.2 pence per share, which will be paid on 30 September 2026, to those shareholders who were on the register at close of business on 28 August 2026. This dividend, if approved, will result in a total ordinary dividend payable in respect of the year ended 30 April 2026 of 27.0 pence per share.
Interim results
