Vodafone Idea Limited announced that Mr. Akshaya Moondra, who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on August 19, 2022, will conclude his term on August 18, 2025. Based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Abhijit Kishore as the Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company, effective August 19, 2025. Mr. Kishore has been associated with the Company since March 2015 and has held multiple senior leadership roles within the organization, both at circle operations and corporate levels.
Prior to taking on the role of COO, he headed the Enterprise Business of VIL as the Chief Enterprise Business Officer. Mr. Kishore has over 27 years of experience in the Indian telecom industry. He is an alumnus of Delhi University and FORE School of Management, Delhi, and has also completed the Senior Leadership Programs from IIM Ahmedabad and London Business School.
