Seventeen years of consecutive growth and still growing, Woodlands Online announced the number of page views for 2013 reached 69 million. According to Google analytics, Woodlands Online core users average more than 17 pages per visit.

At of the end of 2013, the site continued to grow its local base of registered users, Facebook friends and Twitter followers. These numbers will continue to increase in the coming year as the area continues to grow when new businesses and families are welcomed to the community.

Most significantly, Woodlands Online's mobile site received over 1 million visits in 2013. The mobile site grew from 15 percent in 2012 to nearly 25 percent of the site's traffic. The mobile site also had over 400,000 unique visitors viewing more than 14 million pages in 2013.

"The numbers from 2013 are a true testament of how important of a resource Woodlands Online is for the community and businesses," Jessica Fraser, CEO, said. "We launched a new home page, business directory pages and introduced an entirely new sports guide to the community. At the heart of what we do each day is our commitment to provide the most user-friendly, family-friendly community website."

As the numbers continue to evolve, so will Woodlands Online. As the site continues with the design overhaul, look for the new improvements on pages such as Classifieds, Real Estate, Jobs and the ever-popular guides. The amount of hours spent on the site in 2013 equaled 775,000 hours, the equivalent of 46 million minutes, which is up significantly from last year's statistics of 500,000 hours or 30 million minutes.

"We don't plan to take our foot off the gas in 2014," Fraser said. "We work hard to provide the best online advertising platform for businesses. We also take great pride in raising the standard of local content that is found on the site."
