WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 22, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced that Mark A. Turner, WSFS President and Chief Executive Officer, was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Delaware State University during its January 10, 2013 public meeting. Mr. Turner will serve a six-year term that will end on August 31, 2019.

The Delaware State University Board of Trustees consists of 15 members that govern the business and affairs of the University. Members serve without compensation.
