A woman was robbed at gunpoint while patronizing a Subway Restaurant, 1008 Weiland Road, in Buffalo Grove today, around 2:40 p.m.
The offender was described as a male with light skin, possibly 5'8'-5'10', wearing a white or light gray jacket with a dark gray hood, and dark colored pants. He was holding what appeared to be a silver colored handgun when he approached a female inside the restaurant and demanded money. The offender was last seen headed southbound from the area on foot. A police K-9 track showed a preliminary indication that the suspect may have entered a parked vehicle on Bentley Place, which then left the area in an unknown direction.
The victim was not injured and Buffalo Grove Police are currently investigating.
