However, with the company two-thirds of the way to its goal, and with a deadline of Saturday, January 7, Victor founder and app creator Greg Jumes - a Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan - needs help.

While designed for all veterans, Victor aims to help the group it finds the most underserved: the 250,000 post-9/11 military vets who transition to civilian life each year. Free for veterans, Victor App lets the business world market to these transitioning servicemen and women - offering them access to product and service discounts that only they can receive.
Businesses download the app and can reach out to these vets - regardless of the kind of business, and whether or not the business has any veterans on staff. It's part job board - because hiring vets is great business - and part daily deal site - but only offering perks for those who served.
