HOUSTON, May 31 (Reuters) - U.S. crude production rose in March to its highest this year, while product supplied fell, data from the US Energy Information Administration showed on Friday.

Output rose by 0.6% to 13.2 million barrels per day (bpd) in March, the highest since Dec 2023.

Meanwhile, product supplied, a proxy for demand, fell 0.4% to 19.9 million bpd. Finished motor gasoline supplied rose 3.3% to 8.9 million bpd. (Reporting by Arathy Somasekhar in Houston)
