The Standard announced the hiring of Matt Daniels as a retirement plan consultant associate for its East Sales Region. He is based in The Standard’s Detroit retirement plans sales and service office.

Matt joins The Standard with 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in retirement plans. Prior to joining The Standard, Matt worked as a sales consultant for a leading boutique retirement consulting group, spent several years at recordkeeping firm and worked as a wholesaler, all in the Detroit Metro region.

“Throughout his career Matt has served in various roles within the industry, from wholesaler to financial advisor, which makes him a well-rounded addition to the team,” said Mark Bransford, regional sales director for The Standard’s East Sales Region. “He’s able to step right into the role of being a resource to our advisor partners.”

Matt graduated from Wayne State University and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities license as well as state of Michigan Life and Health Insurance licenses, and has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
