The Cansbridge Fellowship, an organization providing resources to high-impact Canadian students, and The McGill EngInE, McGill University’s Faculty of Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship hub focused on stimulating technologically-based innovation and entrepreneurship, have entered into a strategic partnership to deliver scholarships to entrepreneurial McGill Faculty of Engineering students. The scholarship will offer two promising undergraduate students entry into The Cansbridge Fellowship, and provide the necessary resources to live and work in Asia this summer as part of The Cansbridge Fellowship’s Asia Internship experience.

Ross Kelley, Executive Director of the Cansbridge Fellowship, commented: “A partnership with McGill EngInE is a fundamental step towards fostering entrepreneurship in Canada. The collaboration will enable students to gain a unique global perspective from innovative hubs. As a result I see tremendous opportunity for these insights to be reinvested into the Canadian economy seeding our home grown entrepreneurial landscape.”

“This partnership aligns directly with our mission of developing the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in the Faculty of Engineering at McGill University,” said Katya Marc, Manager of McGill EngInE. “And we are committed to investing in young entrepreneurs who will feed back into this entrepreneurial eco-system in the future by becoming the mentors, advisors, investors and philanthropists for tomorrow’s leaders.”

This scholarship program is one of the strategic partnerships The Cansbridge Fellowship is developing with top-tier Canadian universities in order to offer a unique experience to their most ambitious, high-impact students. Cansbridge has, for the last 7 years, worked tirelessly to support entrepreneurship across Canada through its unique and innovative initiatives, including:
