WINEDALE - Fruit tree management will be the topic for a multi-county seminar from 1:30-5 p.m., Feb. 19 at the Winedale Historical Complex, 3738 Farm-to-Market Road 2714, Winedale.
Monte Nesbitt, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horticulturist, will talk about fruit tree varieties, site selection and pruning. There will be demonstrations of pruning and planting.
The cost is $20 per person, including drinks and refreshments. Registration will begin at 1 p.m. at the door.
Fruit trees will be available for purchase from the Bluebonnet Master Gardeners Association. Pre-orders may be made athttp://bluebonnetmastergardener.org.
Three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units - two general and one integrated pest management - are offered.
