Maximum production and delivery were in lignite

Marketable production of solid fuels were 474 542 tonnes for hard coal, 13 295 171 tonnes for lignite and 1 057 263 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in the third quarter of 2013. For the same quarter deliveries(1) were 7 523 324 tonnes for hard coal, 13 161 285 tonnes for lignite and 988 954 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.

The lowest ratio of deliveries to production was in hard coal

The lowest ratio(2) of deliveries to marketable production is in hard coal by 6.3%. Beside this, ratio is 101.0% for lignite and 106.9% for coke derived from hard coal.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to thermal power plants

Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places were 39.5% to thermal power plants, 20.5% to coking plants, 9.4% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal, 86.8% to thermal power plants, 7.4% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite, 95.9% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
