Agriculture PPI increased by 3.51% in December
Producer price index of agricultural products (Agriculture - PPI) increased on the previous month by 3.51%, on December of the previous year basis increased by 1.33%, on same month of the previous year increased by 1.33% and on the twelve months moving averages basis increased by 2.89% in December 2016. Compared to the previous month; agriculture and hunting products increased by 3.37%, fishing increased by 13.90%, but forestry products decreased by 1.34%.
The highest monthly decrease was in non - perennial cropsMonthly changes by main groups; there were increases for non - perennial crops products by 7.46%, for livestock and animal products by 3.17%, but perennial crops decreased by 5.68%.
The vegetables from sub - agriculture groups increased by 16.01%From sub - agriculture groups; there were increases for poultry, live and eggs by 30.29%, for rice (in hulk) by 5.77%, and for oleaginous fruits by 2.50%; however, citrus fruits decreased by 5.39% and other tree and bush fruits and nuts decreased by 1.75%.
