Committee on Mineral Resources to visit DMR offices in Pretoria

The Portfolio Committee on Mineral Resources will tomorrow, (29 January 2018) visit offices of the Department of Mineral Resources in Pretoria to inspect the South African Mineral Resources Administration Database and, be briefed on the five-year plan to integrate the electronic systems of the department.

The Committee is conducting a week-long oversight visit to Gauteng, visiting the Department of Mining Engineering at the University of Pretoria, Council for Geo-Science National Core Library, Council for Science and Industrial Research Kloppersbos and mining precinct as well as Wits Mining Institute.
