Amoruso will continue, as Founder and Executive Chairman, to oversee the Creative and Brand Marketing functions of the business, providing leadership on Nasty Gal's voice, vision, and customer experience both on and offline.

Since joining Nasty Gal in early 2014 as President and Chief Product Officer, Waterson has overseen the merchandising, design, planning, and production functions of the company, successfully improving Nasty Gal's assortment and playing an integral role in opening the brand's first store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. In her new role as CEO, she will be partnering with Amoruso, Founder and Executive Chairman, to evolve Nasty Gal into a dominant retail presence. With this appointment, Waterson has also joined the Nasty Gal board of directors.

She was also Vice President of Merchandising, Women's, for Levi Strauss & Co., from 2002 to 2004, when she spearheaded initial work on new women's speed-to-market and profitability.
