Significant enhancements in this latest release include:
Optimized User Interface/User Experience. SmartOrg streamlined Portfolio Navigator®’s UI/UX to provide improved responsiveness, more intuitive operation, and preservation of command, navigation and status bars across all screen sizes. The advances in design earned SmartOrg two design patents for UI/UX.
Selective Recalculation. Portfolio Navigator® now allows users to specify which portfolios and projects to include in the next recalculation. Previously, recalculations spanned the entire portfolio tree, which for some customers could include thousands of projects, portfolios and portfolio groups. With selective recalculation, the result of changes to a limited number of projects and portfolios can be calculated and evaluated far faster than a full tree recalculation.
Multiselect Filters/Tagging. In the same vein as selective recalculation, multiselect allows executives to specify which projects and portfolios to include in the scope of a comparison. This supports rapid what-if scenario evaluation for related portfolios.
Text Widget. Portfolio Navigator® now includes a rich text widget for creating and managing project documentation. It lets project and portfolio managers create and/or upload complex document types and manage them with smart version control. This lets users and executives access all project documentation through one user interface.
