Marble Matrix builds spatial reasoning and fine motor skills for ages 7 and up. Visualization and strategic thinking are also used to determine the best move on the grid-style game board, as players are challenged to slide rows of marbles across the board to create one or more matching sets. The player then collects all the matches made during their turn, and the player with the most matching sets at the end of the game wins.
A unique feature of Marble Matrix is its constantly new play experience, as game set-up entails random placement of the marbles on the board by the players. This provides a challenging, new experience each time, as no two games will be the same.
Math & STEM, one of four skill sets that are the focus of game development at SimplyFun, zeros in on counting, mathematical relationships, computations and algebra, spatial reasoning, geometry and early scientific concepts appropriate for right and left brain-leaners of all ages.
