Silver Airways has continued to strengthen its management team by naming Sami Teittinen as its new Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Mr. Teittinen will direct and oversee all aspects of the airline's financial activities and join a highly experienced airline management team.

Mr. Teittinen is a veteran of 20 years in the aviation industry with a background in public accounting and a proven track record for developing, growing, and running successful aviation businesses. Teittinen spent the last 12 years in multiple finance roles within BBA Aviation PLC (a $2.2 billion publicly-traded company), and more specifically Aircraft Service International Group® (ASIG) and Signature Flight Support. Most recently he served as a CFO for BBA Aviation Flight Support, where he oversaw both Signature Flight Support and ASIG Finance, as well as all global business development, IT, finance, procurement and strategic planning activities.

Mr. Teittinen holds both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from University of Central Florida and is a graduate of Finish Defense Forces, Reconnaissance School and Finnish Business College in Helsinki Finland.

The company is privately owned by Victory Park Capital, a Chicago-based investment firm that launched the airline in May 2011.
