Today, January 6th, Samarco delivered the Onça bridge, in the city of Barra Longa, Minas Gerais. The steel bridge with a concrete deck is 28 meters long, with a load capacity of 70 tons.

This is the fourth bridge delivered by Samarco so far. The first, which links the sub-districts of Aguas Claras and Monsenhor Horta, was delivered on December 5th. The second, connecting Pedras/Borba and Aguas Claras/Campinas, was concluded on December 11th. The third was the Campinas bridge, between Campinas and Barreto, sub-districts of Mariana (MG), delivered on December 20th.

Samarco is working hard to make sure that the other three affected bridges are ready by the end of January 2016. In addition to these seven major bridges, two days after the accident the Company recovered a smaller one that links the district of Monsenhor Horta to the sub-district of Paracatu de Baixo.
