RiskSense®, Inc., pioneering risk-based vulnerability prioritization and management, today announced that CEO, Srinivas Mukkamala, Ph.D. will present a session on the Convergence of Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention at the BrightTALK Summit “AI and Machine Learning in Financial Services 2019” on January 23, 2019.

WHO:       Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, co-founder and CEO of RiskSense, is a recognized expert on artificial intelligence (AI) and neural networks. He was part of a think tank that collaborated with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community on applying these concepts to cybersecurity problems. Dr. Mukkamala was also a lead researcher for CACTUS (Computational Analysis of Cyber Terrorism against the U.S.) and holds a patent on Intelligent Agents for Distributed Intrusion Detection System and Method of Practicing.

WHAT:

Historically, fraud prevention and cyber security have been managed in silos by separate fraud, risk and information security teams, which typically only interact in the aftermath of a breach. However, digital transformation, big data and the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is driving a convergence of these functions. In this webinar, Dr. Mukkamala will explain how applying AI and a risk based approach across shared datasets for managing security vulnerabilities and detecting anomalies can predict threats so they can be remediated before fraud occurs.
