RDM Corporation appoints Jean Noelting as Chairman

WATERLOO, ON, March 8, 2012 - RDM Corporation (TSX: RC), a leading developer of specialized software and hardware products for electronic payment processing, today announced that Jean Noelting has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Thomas Di Giacomo had advised the Corporation that he would step down from the Chairman role after the Annual General Meeting but would continue to serve on the Board for one more year to provide a proper transition.

Jean Noelting is the Managing Director of RoyCap Merchant Banking Group, a private equity investment firm which he founded in 2003 with two partners. He is CEO of Great Lakes Copper Inc., a leading manufacturer of copper tube products for the industrial, wholesale and refrigeration markets, and RoyCap's largest holding. Mr. Noelting previously served as President and CEO of gaming software company Cryptologic Inc., and President of industrial distributor Westburne Inc. He has also held executive positions with Parmalat Canada and Campbell Soup Company. Mr. Noelting is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario and holds a B.A.Sc. and a M.A.SC. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He has been a director of RDM Corporation since 2003.
