The Ayla Networks IoT platform technology is at the heart of several new APPSPOWER intelligent home control products being launched by Powertech, a leader in power protection and energy management technologies based in Taiwan.

Powertech’s APPSPOWER product line focuses on the safe use of electricity. The new products running on the Ayla IoT cloud include Wi-Fi and ZigBee smart sockets, as well as ZigBee network bridges, intelligent temperature and humidity sensors, door and window sensors, wall socket and dimmer switch.

“Ayla provides the intelligence for our smart home products,” said Jennifer Lai, general manager of Powertech. “In addition to measuring electricity consumption and interoperating with one another, our intelligent APPSPOWER product line can also remotely monitor power usage via mobile devices; detect abnormal power consumption and alert users in real time; and allow users to customize their settings.”

“We’re pleased to add Powertech to our growing list of leading brands that are using Ayla IoT technology to create intelligent, convenient and superior connected products,” said Phillip Chang, co-founder, vice president and general manager of Greater China for Ayla Networks. “The Ayla IoT platform provides integrated device, cloud and mobile app connectivity that enables smart home manufacturers to launch secure and reliable products quickly and cost-effectively.”

Powertech will showcase its intelligent home control solutions at CES 2017, being held January 5 to 8 in Las Vegas. More information will be available at Ayla’s CES Booth #41160 in the Smart Home Marketplace at the Sands Hotel, Halls A – D.
