The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP), owners and producers of the Philadelphia Auto Show, announces the event’s return to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Jan. 28 to Feb. 5. Media Preview Day is Jan. 27, followed by the Black Tie Tailgate that evening.

Celebrating its 116th edition, the Philadelphia Auto Show is one of the largest auto shows in the country with annual crowds of approximately 250,000 guests, a 700,000-square foot display floor and regional economic impact of approximately $50 million. For those currently in the market, the Show will continue to be a key influencer in their decision-making process with a yearly average of 90 percent reporting that their purchasing decision is influenced by the Show, which is approximately $3.5 billion in sales. Specific highlights and details of the 2017 Philadelphia Auto Show include:
Preproduction and Hot Production Models
A
wide variety of preproduction and hot production vehicles will be on
display at this year’s Philadelphia Auto Show including the following
2018 models: Chevrolet Equinox, Hyundai Genesis G80, GMC Terrain, Lexus
LC 500, Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 and 250, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Atlas and
Volvo V90.

Exotics
The 2017 exotic
vehicles display at this year’s Philadelphia Auto Show is one of the
largest in the country and one of the best in its history. The event
proudly welcomes a brand new Super Car display courtesy of C.F.
Charities Super Car Show, which will feature a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo
Competition, Ferrari 599XX, SSC Ultimate Aero and Mosler Raptor GTR. In
addition, the Show also proudly welcomes the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, which
debuted at the renowned Paris Auto Show, as well as Karma for the first
time. Karma’s Revero, which is the first vehicle sold in the U.S. with a
solar roof that will power the vehicle, will be on display. Further, the
ever-popular exotics display hosted by F.C. Kerbeck will be onsite and
another crowd pleaser. With vehicles ranging from an Aston Martin DB11
and Bentley Bentayga to a Lamborghini LP710 SV and Maserati Levante S,
there will be plenty for guests to ooh and ahh at.
Hollywood Cars Display
For the
first time ever, the Philadelphia Auto Show will host a one-of-a-kind
Hollywood Cars display featuring vehicles from some of Hollywood’s
biggest blockbusters. Examples include the 1966 Batmobile, Back to the
Future’s Delorean, Ghostbusters’ 1991 Cadillac Hearse Ecto-1, Dumb and
Dumber’s 1989 Ford Econoline Van “Sheep Dog” promotional vehicle, also
known as the Mutt Cutts Mobile, Death Race’s Frankenstein Mustang, Harry
Potter’s Ford Anglia, the infamous Jurassic Park Jeep and Supernatural’s
Thor the Impala.
Classics
Attendees are also
invited to take a trip down memory lane at one of the largest classic
automobile displays in the area. Courtesy of the Simeone Foundation
Automotive Museum, Antique Automobile Club of America and Vintage
Automobile Museum of New Jersey, some of the most beloved and favorite
cars of yesteryear will be onsite. Examples include the 1910 Packard 18
Model NC, 1928 Auburn 8-88 Boat Tail Speedster and 1968 Ford Shelby GT
500 as well as dozens of others.
Ride-and-Drive Opportunities
Camp
Jeep will return to the Philadelphia Auto Show for its fifth consecutive
appearance and feature a revamped interactive adventure zone where
professional 4x4 drivers allow riders to experience a Jeep's on- and
off-road capabilities inside the Convention Center. The Jeep Kids Course
with kid-sized Jeeps also returns, adjacent to Camp Jeep.
Guests will also get the opportunity to find what moves them at the 2017 Ride and Drive Zone. Located just outside the DUB display on the street level of the Convention Center, the Zone will offer test drives from BMW, Nissan, Kia, Mazda and Toyota. DUB Show Tour
Hosted by DUB

this year’s DUB Live exhibit will include 100,000 square feet of the
hottest customized rides today. Located in Hall F of the Convention
Center, this display continues to gain popularity every year and is one
guests will not want to miss.
Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community Events

by Xfinity, the Auto Show will host two Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community
Access events during the 2017 show on Jan. 28 from 9am – 3pm and Jan. 31
from 4pm – 9pm. ASL interpreters will be available during that time.
Philanthropic Giving from Ticket Sales
The
ADAGP donates $2 from every Auto Show ticket sold to the Auto
Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation. The Foundation uses the funds
for programs benefiting area children like its Driving Away the Cold
effort, which provides brand new winter coats to kids that need them
most.
Black Tie Tailgate
Open to the
public and featuring a brand-new catering menu, the 2017 Black Tie
Tailgate is set for Jan. 27. This one-of-a-kind preview invites guest to
dine, dance and enjoy everything the 2017 Philadelphia Auto Show has to
offer. This year’s menu was designed by two of Philadelphia’s most
notable chefs, Kevin Sbraga and Townsend Wentz, in conjunction with
Aramark. The iconic Termini Bros. Bakery will provide the desserts. All
proceeds benefit the Division of Neurology at The
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through the Auto Dealers CARing

The 2017
Philadelphia Auto Show hours are:
- Weekdays: noon to 10 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sundays: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 29, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 5
Tickets are $14 for adults (age 13 and up) and $7 for children (ages 7-12) and may be purchased at phillyautoshow.com or at the Convention Center box office. Children ages 6 and younger do not require a ticket. Senior citizens (ages 62 and older) receive a special admission price of $7 on weekdays only. Senior citizen tickets are not available online.
