People Government of Jilin Province : Songyuan’s Three Farmer Cooperatives Are Rated as National Model Cooperatives

Learned from Songyuan City Bureau of Agricultural Economics, Songyuan's three cooperatives, Xingyuan Planting Farmer Professional Cooperative, Ningjiang District Dezhi Ecological Agricultural Cooperative and Fuyu City Caijiagou Town Yaohao Village Lvxing Vegetable Farmer Cooperative, are rated as national farmer cooperation model cooperatives.

The three farmer cooperatives develop well, have a large scale and a strong demonstrating role and provide a sample and set a benchmark for the local agriculture's transformation and development and structural adjustment. Xingyuan Planting Farmer Professional Cooperative used three years to help a backward village to show a new look, each industry to develop rapidly and embark onto an 'agriculture, countryside and farmer' development road with significant effects and distinctive characteristics and able to be promoted and copied. Ningjiang District Dezhi Ecological Agricultural Cooperative adopted unified supply of means of production, unified planting, unified management, unified harvest, unified sales, unified mechanized farming and other methods to activate the sleeping land and liberate the labor force so that members' per capita income reached more than RMB 7,000. Yaohao Village Lvxing Vegetable Farmer Cooperative actively adjusted the planting structure and became an important vegetable distribution center in the southeast of Fuyu City as it-planted tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and other agricultural products are sold to Harbin, Guangzhou, Shanghai and other places and also exported to Russia.
