Today the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, met with the President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, on the margins of the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

The two leaders had an exchange on their respective G7 and G20 presidencies and on working together to support economic growth that benefits everyone.

Both leaders welcomed the deepening bilateral relationship between Canada and Argentina, as well as underlining the importance of ongoing collaboration on regional security and, in particular, in responding to the crisis in Venezuela.
