Statement from Governor Hassan on December Unemployment Rate

CONCORD - Governor Maggie Hassan today issued the following statement on the announcement that New Hampshire's unemployment rate dropped to 3.1 percent in December:

'The continued decrease in our unemployment rate, which fell to 3.1 percent in December, is a clear indicator that New Hampshire's economy continues to strengthen. While we have made bipartisan progress to keep New Hampshire moving in the right direction, we know that we must continue working together to ensure that all of New Hampshire's people have the opportunity to get ahead by helping our workers develop new skills that will lead to success in a changing economy, supporting job-creating businesses, and encouraging innovation.'
