YTL Corporation Berhad ("YTL Corp" or "the
Company") wishes to announce that YTL Power
Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
YTL Cayman Limited, which in turn a
wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has
incorporated a new subsidiary, YTL Power
Services (S) Pte Ltd ("YTLPS Singapore") in
Singapore on 4 January 2012 with an issued and
paid-up share capital of SGD1.00 comprising of
1 ordinary share. YTLPS Singapore will be
principally involved in operation and
maintenance of power stations.
The incorporation of YTLPS Singapore does not
have any material effect on the earnings,
gearing or net assets of YTL Corp Group for the
year ending 30 June 2012. None of the Directors
and/or major shareholders of the Company or
persons connected to them have any interest,
direct or indirect in the said
incorporation.
