OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and : OECD report on Social Cohesion in Korea to launch Tuesday 5 February 2013

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría will launch a report on social cohesion at an 11.00 a.m. news conference in Korea on Tuesday 5 February 2013.

Strengthening Social Cohesion in Korea discusses the structural reforms that the country needs to pursue to sustain its strong record of economic growth while addressing pressing social challenges. It proposes a range of reforms to reduce income inequality, boost labour market participation and improve the quality of education and health systems.

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría will present the report during a news conference with Dr. Oh-Seok Hyun, President of KDI, from 11.00 a.m. (Seoul time) on Tuesday 5 February at the Lotte Hotel (30 Eulji-Ro, Jung-Gu, Seoul 100-721).

The report will be available to journalists on the OECD's password-protected website at 11.00 a.m. Seoul time (03.00 a.m. Paris time) for immediate release.
