The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a 'Keweenaw Copper' presentation from 3-4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Copper Country explorer Kurt Fosburg will present about the geological formation of the copper range, those who came to the area because of it and how technology has influenced advancement in search of its riches.

The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register before Monday, Jan. 15, by calling 227-2979. Call Sally Olsen at 226-8347 for more information.
