He added that such accusations and interference are "whipping up hysteria" to such an extent that an economic impact is already being felt by Ukraine, though he did not specify what that economic impact is.

Moscow insists that it has no intention to attack. The United States says that Russia is now positioned to invade if it decides to do so.
