This is to report the diminution of non-operating expense (exchange loss) in the periods up to the 3rd Quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2017 (April 1 to December 31, 2016), as follows:
We had appropriated an exchange loss of 1,766 Million Yen in the periods up to 2nd Quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2017 (April 1 to September 30, 2016). Due to the trend of weak Japanese Yen against US Dollar, we found a reduction in exchange loss down to 134 million yen in 3rd Quarter of this fiscal year.
The appropriation of above non-operating expense has been incorporated in the "Financial Highlights for the 3rd Quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2017" and "Revision of Operating Performance Forecast" released today. The exchange gain or loss for the full fiscal year is subject to change in accordance with the future exchange rate.
