Mesa Verde invites you to join us this Saturday, January 23rd for a special full moon event! The Morefield Campground winter trails will be open from 6 pm until 10 pm for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. This event is free and open to all ages.
Bring your skis or snowshoes and enjoy the trails by moonlight! Be sure to stop by the campfire for free hot cocoa or cider, and for storytelling. Park staff will have a telescope set up and will be available for night sky interpretation.
Please be sure to dress for the cold, bring appropriate outdoor gear, and a headlamp or flashlight.
Morefield Campground is located 4 miles past the park entrance, on the right hand side. Look for the Campground sign, and follow the glow sticks to the campfire!
