In its attempt to mitigate the effects of the current circumstances and the International Companies inability to return to resume their activities because of the currents events that Libya and the Oil Sector go through, in addition to the oil prices slump, and in its carefulness to avoid the effects of such circumstances on its relationship with its partners,
NOC called for meetings with its partners in order to agree on arrangements through which the impacts arising from such circumstances shall be mitigated.
A meeting with Turkish Petroleum Corporation was held on Monday January 11, 2016. Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abulgasem Shengheer, Member of the Board and the General Manager of Exploration and Production Department, in addition to a number of NOC managers, Mr. Murat Karci, the General Manager of Turkish Petroleum Corporation and Mr. Tayland Efeoglu, the Manger of the Turkish Corporation, Libya Branch attended the meeting.
The two Parties showed thorough understanding and enthusiasm to overcome these circumstances and support the cooperation relations between them.
