Natural gas production from phase 12 of the South Pars gas field is at 60 million cubic meters per day (MMcm/d) which will cross 70 MMcm/d by the time Platform 12C comes online, said the official in charge of Phase 12 development.
Rasoul Fallah-Nejad said two platforms 12A and 12B of the phase recover 60 MMcm a day of natural gas while Platform 12C is about to start up and will come on-stream during next week, Iran's SHANA news agency reported.
"Once platform 12C of the phase comes online, the production from the phase will hit 70 MMcm/d of natural gas," he added.
He also said that nearly 7 million barrels of gas condensate have been exported from the phase with the latest consignment being loaded on Friday, January 09.
