Jakarta, 04/01/2017 MoF - Ministry of Finance continues to open partnership with stakeholders, holding onto the principle of professionalism, accountability and mutual benefit. However, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati stressed that as a partner, the agency should be able to take responsibility to maintain economic conditions in the country.

Regarding the termination of business ties with JP Morgan, according to her, partner agency has a responsibility to keep psychological factor to remain positive, for Indonesia's economy. 'Remember, economy is driven by fundamental and psychological factors. Psychological factor is very important for partner agency to take responsibility as the government does,' the Minister said at press conference at Juanda Hall, Ministry of Finance on Tuesday (03/01).

Hence, the minister affirmed that Indonesia should be professionally maintained. Despite of existing shortcomings, the improvement will be made. 'I hope it may also be a signal that the country is well taken care of. We keep this republic professionally. It does not mean that all have been perfect but we will continue to improve in a professional, transparent and accountable way, continue to create a relationship with mutual respect and trust in the credibility of the assessment. And we hope all of our partners also have the same attitude, professional, transparent and responsibility towards this positive mutual relations,' said the minister. (as/rsa)
