According to the information received from the headquarters of the Pacific Fleet, the Sovershenny corvette will be introduced in the first half of 2017.
The Sovershenny corvette of project 20380 is a multipurpose guard ship designed to eliminate surface ships and submarines of the enemy as well as to provide artillery support to seaborne assault in the nearest water zone.
Corvette's length is more than 100 meters, displacement - 2,220 tons. The guard ship is capable to sail at the distance of 4,000 miles. Sovershenny is armed with Uran anti-ship missile complex, Redut air defence missile complex, torpedos, large-caliber machine guns, and grenade launchers.
