In accordance with the combat training plan of the Pacific Fleet Coastal Troops, snipers of marine units conducted a practical training to engage complex targets by sniper pairs and groups.

As part of fire training, sniper pairs and groups hit moving and static targets at distances of up to 1200 metres. For creating a complex target situation, the targets were divided into 'friendly' and 'foe' ones. In case of hitting a 'friendly' target, the serviceman was given the unsatisfactory mark.

In the future, a wider nomenclature of targets will be used to train the Pacific Fleet snipers, and imitation tools will be used to create conditions close to the real tactical situation.
