Marines are conduct firing training at a range of the Marine formation of the ground and coastal forces of the Northern Fleet. They are firing Kalashnikov assault rifles and machine guns, sniper rifles and RPG-7 grenade launchers.
Night firing is an essential element of combat training of servicemen of the Northern Fleet ground and coastal troops.
According to results of the training year, number of combat firing events held by squads and platoons, company and battalion exercises has been increased by 20 per cent.
