January 13, 2015 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing SEMCO Energy Gas Company to amend its energy optimization (EO) plan and to revise its EO surcharges.
The utility proposed new spending levels for its 2015 gas EO plan and calculated a new volume savings goal for its incentive mechanism.
Residential customers using 100 therms of natural gas a month will see an increase of 14 cents on their monthly bill, for bills rendered on and after Feb. 1.
The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
