NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2015) - Yesterday, Michelle Myers was named chief revenue officer of BRIDES --the country's top bridal brand -- and also honored by parent company Condé Nast at the annual publishers and executives conference, taking home the prestigious Business Transformation Award. Myers received the award in recognition of the incredible success BRIDES experienced in 2014, noting the new advertising offerings in print, digital and event sponsorships that she created to increase revenue.

In 2014, BRIDES held the second-annual BRIDES Live Wedding, a social-media initiative in which one lucky couple won a million-dollar wedding curated by BRIDES editors and planned by the voting public. The journey to the wedding day was documented in an episodic YouTube series that garnered over 6 million views and the overall program reached over a billion media impressions. The program enabled Myers to successfully monetize social media and expand the brand's digital reach. BRIDES won two min Integrated Marketing Awards for the program in 2014, for the second consecutive year.

In 2014, Myers increased BRIDES' overall brand profit by 185%, and added 57 new print accounts and 76 new online advertisers. BRIDES was the only bridal title to experience total ad page growth year over year in 2014. Additionally, BRIDES was number one in market share versus competitive bridal titles for 2014. Under Myers's leadership, BRIDES captured a 73% share of non-endemic paging, an increase of 17% from 2013.

The current February/March issue of BRIDES is 524 pages, a milestone the brand has not seen since 2009.
