Merex, a Dubin Clark portfolio company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Pablo E. Linares to the role of Director, Business Development - Latin America. Linares will be charged with the overall growth of the Merex bundle of business offerings in Mexico, Central and South America, and will also serve as the Group's Bell Helicopter Subject Matter Expert for the Merex global customer base. He will report to the Merex Group Sales and Marketing Leader.

Linares brings over 25 years of overhaul, maintenance and management experience for a variety of rotary wing platforms including: Bell 412 series, 206 series, 212, UH-1H, HUEY II, COBRA and OH-58. He is also a Bell Certified instructor for 412, 212, UH-1H, and UH-II, and has successfully led multiple technical teams, domestically and internationally, in achieving maintenance, overhaul and training program management objectives.

Linares most recently served as an Instructor Specialist for Bell Helicopter, A Textron Company (NYSE:TXT), the premier American rotorcraft manufacturer for military and commercial platforms. There, he successfully managed various maintenance and training programs for end-users in Central and South America. During his tenure, Linares successfully grew Bell's Latin America field maintenance and training programs by over 15%. He directed programs that include the Bell 412 fleet training program for sixty technicians of the Chilean Air Force and the training of all technical personnel for the overall maintenance of the presidential helicopters of Colombia, El Salvador, Peru and Argentina.

Prior to that, Linares spent more than three years as a Helicopter Technical Advisor for Dyncorp International, a private military contractor with more than $3 billion in annual revenues offering diverse operations support for government aircraft and helicopter maintenance. In this role, he worked under the auspices of the United States Department of State - Air Wing, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) as a liaison between the U.S. Embassy and the National Police Force of Peru. He was charged with the overall training, quality assurance and technical advisement for the Police's fleet of 21 Bell Helicopters.

Linares spent more than a decade in a variety of different roles of increasing responsibility at both stateside and international posts for The State of Florida - Division of Forestry, Biscayne Helicopters, Inc., Petroleum Helicopters International, Inc. and the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana, among others. In these various helicopter service support positions, Pablo acted as Lead Mechanic, Base Maintenance Lead and Fleet Maintenance Lead. He successfully set up two helicopter bases in the Amazon and led maintenance, inventory management and quality assurance programs.

Linares holds airframe and power plant licenses for Helicopter Maintenance and Management, a private pilot's helicopter license and is a certified Bell instructor for Field Maintenance and Overhaul for various Bell model helicopters.

He is also a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT), Southern California Aviation Association (SCAA) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
