CHICAGO, Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Skydeck Chicago at Willis Tower, Chicago's most iconic landmark, announces its third annual "Love on the Ledge" social media contest today. Over the last two years, Love on the Ledge has provided adventurous couples looking for a unique way to tie the knot or renew their vows the opportunity to win a romantic ceremony 1,353 feet in the sky. For the first time, Skydeck Chicago will expand the "Love on the Ledge" opportunity to couples that are not engaged or married by offering a romantic photoshoot atop Skydeck Chicago.

The Ledge at Skydeck

Couples can enter the Skydeck Chicago Wedding Contest by submitting a video entry on Skydeck Chicago's Facebook page. Four lucky couples will win a romantic wedding ceremony atop the highest observation deck in America on February 11, and a fifth couple will win a private photoshoot with The Ledge as a backdrop, whose glass boxes extend 4.3 feet from the skyscraper, offering unparalleled views of the city.

Love is in the Air
"We're excited to share Chicago's most iconic view with couples looking to make lasting memories together," says Skydeck Chicago General Manager Randy Stancik. To enter, contestants are invited to submit a video of two minutes or less explaining why they should win Chicago's most romantic wedding ceremony, vow renewal or photoshoot. Entries are welcome from January 16 – 31. On February 2, the winning couples will be selected by the Skydeck Chicago team. One entry is permitted per couple.

Four of the five winning couples will exchange vows standing over Chicago on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower's Skydeck Chicago. Accompanied by up to eight guests, each couple will enjoy a private 15-minute ceremony with the Chicago skyline as the backdrop. Additionally, the four couples will receive a stay at the W Chicago for a romantic getaway, a complimentary photo from atop the tallest building in Chicago and prizes from local Chicago partners.

Picture Perfect
The fifth winning couple will receive a private romantic photoshoot atop Skydeck Chicago, set against views spanning up to 50 miles and four states. The Bachelorette's Diggy Moreland and The Bachelor's Amber James recently visited Skydeck Chicago for their own photo shoot in anticipation of the "Love on the Ledge" social media contest.

To date, there have been 933 marriage proposals, 102 weddings, 16 vow renewals and hundreds of private "Pie in the Sky" dates on The Ledge. For more information, please visit www.theskydeck.com.
